Today’s accompanying image of Chicago Bears receivers Chase Claypool, Darnell Mooney, and D.J. Moore along with quarterback Justin Fields is likely the epitome all recent hype around the NFL team in March 2023. Looks great and great for publicity…in March, so ultimately meaningless. We will check back in January 2024 to learn if the Chicago Bears were pre-ordained Super Bowl contenders or destined for Chicago’s far larger shelf of unmet potential and excuses.
