I stayed up to 3 a.m. to see the Moon as well as planets Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus. Mercury, starting to rise, was obstructed by trees.
During this month's Lunar Eclipse, I witnessed a bright and large meteor streak from approximately Zenith into the Southwest.
The image above was the most spectacular, captured very early in the session.
In hindsight, this may have been a nice long-exposure NightCap image.
I am under no illusion that seeing galaxies is possible from my location on Earth.
